My name is Isabella Bubola and I'm a fine art/portrait photographer and model from Pula (Istria).
In 2015 I graduated from the Academy of applied arts in Rijeka (Croatia).
My photography is strongly inspired by dreams, colors and the surreal.

EXHIBITIONS AND WORKSHOPS
My works have been displayed on a number of group exhibitions, among which the World biennale of student photography (Novi Sad, 2011.), Dissociations (Rijeka, 2013), Gloria Photo Talent Campus (Jurors: Peter Lindbergh, Mare Milin, Ivan Posavec; Zagreb, 2014).
On Rovinj Photodays 2012. I got awarded in the category ''Nude/body'' with a series of photographs named ''Concept''.
I attended the following international collaborative workshops: Hillov (Venice, 2011, mentor Rajko Grlić), Mapping Komiža Narratives (Komiža, 2013), Triangel (Bentlage, 2014) and Fotosofia (Terme Tuhelj, 2015).
THINGS THAT INSPIRE ME
Travelling, movies by Xavier Dolan and Sofia Coppola, overheard conversations, trip-hop music (like Portishead, Massive Attack, Morcheeba), paintings by Toulouse-Lautrec and Degas, 90s style (both grunge and mainstream), books (Harry Potter, A Single Man, The Perks of being a Wallflower, Carol, The Hours), TED Talks, podcasts (Debbie Millman’s ‘‘Design Matters’’, Gretchen Rubin’s ‘‘Happier’’).
