My name is Isabella Bubola and I'm a fine art and portrait photographer from Croatia.
In September 2015. I majored in applied arts (graphics department) at the Academy of applied arts in Rijeka, Croatia.
Besides photography and writing inspiring posts for my blog, I also love creating collage art, jewelry, illustration and graphic design.
what inspires me?
My work is strongly influenced by nature, dreams and the surreal. I approach every photograph as a unique piece that tells a story and emotionally engages the viewer.
When I'm not holding my camera, I spend my time watching movies with friends (and eating nachos!) while my cats keep us company.
EXHIBITIONS AND WORKSHOPS
My works have been displayed on a number of group exhibitions, among which the World biennale of student photography (Novi Sad, 2011.), Dissociations (Rijeka, 2013), Gloria Photo Talent Campus (Jurors: Peter Lindbergh, Mare Milin, Ivan Posavec; Zagreb, 2014).
On Rovinj Photodays 2012. I got awarded in the category ''Nude/body'' with a series of photographs named ''Concept''.
I attended the following international collaborative workshops: Hillov (Venice, 2011, mentor Rajko Grlić), Mapping Komiža Narratives (Komiža, 2013), Triangel (Bentlage, 2014) and Fotosofia (Terme Tuhelj, 2015).
