Gants Hill Station Photoshoot

Gants Hill station was designed by architect Charles Holden in the 1930s and during WW2 it as used as an air raid shelter.

Holden went to Moscow as a consultant and when he came back to England, he got inspired and brought back some novel ideas. That is why Gants Hill bares a resemblance to the Moscow Metro.

Located on the Central line, this little stunning station is well worth a visit. However, rest assured that tourists regularly travel all the way up north London in order to enjoy its wonderful architecture.
